Quinta da Pacheca is not only a very reputable Port and Douro Wine producer but also a great place to stay during your trip to the Douro Valley. It’s located on the other river-side of Regua, very easy to find. It is a small boutique hotel with 15 rooms (9 double and 6 twin rooms), a beautiful property, a mixture of old and new.

A visit here starts by driving through a wonderful row of tall, green trees – a magnificent road.

We reach the reception area – what a nice room. Clean, tidy, the old building and modern furniture fit very well together. I can see myself sitting here on a cold, rainy winter night, reading a book by the fire place.
